WHY YOU NEED ONE

Word of mouth gets you the name. The search decides the call.

A neighbor recommends you. Before they call, they search your name. If nothing comes up, or only an old listing with the wrong hours, the next result is usually a competitor with a website and a phone number you can tap.

of U.S. consumers used the internet to find information about local businesses in 2022.

BRIGHTLOCAL, 2023 ↗
54%

of consumers go to the business's website next after reading positive reviews. With no website, that step leads somewhere else.

BRIGHTLOCAL, 2026 ↗
83%

of small businesses now have a website, up from 64% in 2018. The businesses you compete with are most likely among them.

WHAT YOU GET

Everything a customer needs to pick you, and nothing you'll never use.

A small, fast site that answers the four questions every customer has: what do you do, where do you work, can I trust you, and how do I reach you?

01

Built for phones first

Most of your customers will see it on a phone, often standing in the problem you fix. It's designed for that screen first.

02

Tap to call, or ask for a quote

Your number one tap away on every page, plus a short form that sends requests straight to your email.

03

Your services and your area

What you do, the neighborhoods you cover, and your hours, written so a customer and Google both understand it.

04

Proof of your work

Photos of real jobs and a few reviews you're proud of. Phone photos are fine; I'll pick and prepare the best ones.

05

Ready to be found

Page titles and descriptions set up properly, and your free Google Business Profile pointed at the new site.

06

Yours to keep

Once it's paid for, the site and its files belong to you, on a domain in your name. No renting it back from me.

A GOOD FIT IF
—You're a contractor, tradesperson, shop, salon, restaurant or service business
—Most work comes by word of mouth, and you'd like the people who hear about you to find you
—You're relying on a Facebook page or a listing you don't control
PROBABLY NOT IF
—You need an online store with inventory, or customer logins
—You need a custom booking or payment system built from scratch
—You already have a site that's showing its age. That's the refresh page
TWO WEEKS, START TO FINISH

You run your business. I'll handle the website.

No meetings about meetings. The whole thing asks for about an hour of your time, most of it sending me photos.

STEP 01 · FREE
Tell me about the business

The form below. What you do, where you work, and anything you already have.

STEP 02 · 2 BUSINESS DAYS
A flat price, in writing

One number that covers the build, plus the yearly running costs spelled out, so nothing surprises you later.

STEP 03 · TWO WEEKS
The build

The clock starts when I have your logo, photos and details. You see it in progress and tell me what to change.

STEP 04
Live, and handed over

It goes live on your domain, and you get the logins and the files. It's yours.

WHAT I NEED FROM YOU

Your logo if you have one, ten or so photos of your work, the services you offer, the area you cover, your hours, and a couple of reviews you like. No logo? That's common, and it can be sorted as part of the job.

FAQ

The questions owners actually ask.

I get all my work from word of mouth. Do I really need a website?

Word of mouth is exactly why you need one. People who hear your name still search it before they call, to check you're real, see your work and find your number. A website makes sure they find you, and not the competitor listed underneath.

I have a Facebook page and a Google listing. Isn't that enough?

Keep both; they help. But you don't own either one, they look the same as every competitor's, and the platform decides what shows next to your name. Your website is the one place online you control, and it's where your listings should point.

How much does it cost?

One flat price, quoted for your business before anything starts, with the yearly running costs spelled out alongside it. I don't post a single number here because a one-page site for a barber and a five-page site for a contractor with three service areas are different jobs. Tell me what you do and you'll have the figure within two business days.

Is two weeks real?

Yes, counted from the day I have your logo, photos and details. That part is usually what takes longest, so the sooner you send them, the sooner you're live.

Can I change things myself later?

Tell me up front what you'll want to change, like hours, prices or photos, and the site will be built so you can. Anything bigger, you can come back to me for, or hand to anyone you like. It's your site.

I'm not in Baltimore. Can you still build it?

Yes. The postcards went to Baltimore, but the work runs by phone and email. Nothing here requires us to be in the same room.
