UX, product and web design, email, ads, video and print — made by one person who has done this for ten years, so the whole thing looks like it came from the same place. Hire me for a project, on contract, by the piece, or by the month.
Most small businesses end up with a different person for the website, the emails, the ads and the flyers — and it shows. This is the same person doing all of it, which is the only reason it ends up consistent.
Fixing the part where people give up — the booking form nobody finishes, the checkout that loses them, the page that gets the call instead of the sale. Flows, screens and the states in between.
If the thing you sell is an app or a piece of software: the interface, the design system behind it, and specs your developer can build from without guessing. I design and direct it; someone else writes the production code.
Marketing sites and landing pages designed to be read on a phone first, because that is where your customers are. Straightforward sites I can build and hand over outright — this one is hand-built.
Campaigns, newsletters and the automatic ones people actually read — receipts, confirmations, reminders. Built as templates in the tool you already pay for, so your team can send the next one without me.
Paid social and display creative, sized for every placement you are running, with variants worth testing against each other rather than one design stretched six ways.
Cutting footage you already have into something worth posting — short-form edits, captions, titles, and the vertical and square versions each platform wants. Editing and finishing, not a film crew.
Posters, flyers, menus, signage and cards — set up properly for whoever is printing them, with bleed and the right color space, so the shop does not send it back.
The small kit that keeps everything above consistent: logo use, type, color, and social templates your team can fill in. Not a sixty-page brand bible nobody opens.
Need more than one of these? That is the usual case, and it is cheaper to do them together than apart.
Anything on this page can run in any of these shapes. Pick the one that matches how your business actually buys — not the one that sounds most serious.
One scope, one number, one end date, agreed before anything starts. A new site, a campaign, a rebrand of the everyday stuff.
Embedded with your team for a stretch — a few days a week for three months, or cover while a role is open. I join your standups and work in your tools.
One thing at a time, quoted on its own. A poster for Saturday. One email template. A landing page for the campaign you are running next month.
A set block of hours every month for businesses that always have something — this week's ads, next week's flyer, the page that needs updating again.
Everything is quoted against your actual scope rather than billed against a clock, so the number and the work are both settled before we start. Tell me what you need and I will send a fixed figure, usually within two business days. If your budget is fixed, say the number — I will tell you honestly what fits inside it and what does not.
Nothing here requires a discovery phase, a pitch deck, or a meeting to decide when to have the next meeting.
The form below, or an email. A few sentences is plenty. I read every one myself.
A short call if we need one, then a written scope with a fixed price and dates. Including, sometimes, that you should not spend this money yet.
You see it while it is in progress, not only at the end. Feedback in one place, in writing, so nothing gets lost between calls.
Production-ready, in the formats you actually need, plus editable templates where a template makes sense. They are yours.
Shops, studios, restaurants, clinics, trades, agencies, non-profits and one-person software businesses — anywhere the design work currently happens at 11pm in a free template because there is nobody else to do it.
Non-profit and community-organization rates available.
One poster. One email template. One landing page. Freelance work is quoted per piece precisely so there is a way in that does not involve committing to a project — and plenty of retainers started as somebody needing one flyer.
It depends on the scope, and I would rather quote your actual job than post a number that is wrong for most people. Tell me what you need and I will send a fixed figure, usually within two business days. If you have a budget in mind, say it — I will tell you straight what fits inside it. The one published price on this site is the Product Audit at $2,500, which is for software products rather than marketing work.
For a straightforward marketing site I can do both and hand you the files outright — this site is hand-built. Anything with a real backend, a login or a payment system goes to a developer, and I give them flows, states and specs they can build from without guessing. If someone tells you a solo designer will also deliver your production software, be careful.
Yes, and it is usually the arrangement I would recommend. You keep the people who already know your business; I handle the design and give them what they need to execute. I am happy to join their calls if that helps.
Whatever you already have — the logo files, the last flyer, access to the site, the footage. If some of it is missing or the logo only exists as a JPEG somebody sent you in 2019, say so. That is common and it is fixable.
Yes. Most engagements run remotely and always have. Baltimore and DC are where I am, which matters for a site visit or an in-person session — but nothing on this page requires us to be in the same room.
I do. There is no bench behind me and no handoff to someone junior after the sale. The person who answers your enquiry is the person making the thing. That is a limit as much as a feature — it means I take a small number of clients at a time.
A few sentences is plenty — you do not need the scope figured out before you write. I read every one myself and come back within two business days with a straight answer, including when the honest one is that you need something smaller than you think.
Not sure which of the four arrangements fits? Say so on the form and I will tell you which one I would use.

Tell me what your business needs made and I will send back a fixed number, or tell you it is not worth doing yet.
